Bachelor Of Science in Electro Mechanical Engineering (BSEM)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Electro-Mechanical is a subset of Cybernetics, being one where intelligent product design is the system under study. An alternate view is that it is the intersection set of computer, electronic, control and mechanical engineering. To produce graduates who are well versed in the basic and general principles of engineering who can apply their knowledge to a wide variety of engineering problems and industrial situations and who can communicate fluently and effectively with specialist in the electrical or mechanical disciplines.
IOU requirement for the award of BSEM is 174 credit hours. Student entering into the program with an associate degree/diploma or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline would receive an advanced standing of 30 credit hours.

PROGRAM DELIVERY, DURATION & REQUIREMENTS:

Program Duration: 2 - 3 years Bachelor Programs are offered through Distance Learning and seminar support basis. Students can enroll for these programs from anywhere.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree or equivalent or completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours at undergraduate level. A minimum of two years of occupational experience in a field related to the degree or area of specialization. For residents of countries other than the US, the applicant should in general have educational qualification comparable to those stated for US residents. Applicants with no qualification but having life time experience will be accepts
